Prior to launching Metric Media in early 2002, Dave had worked in both Texas and Washington, earning a strong reputation as a gifted programmer with strong design sensibilities. Realizing that he wanted more opportunity to utilize his business skills (and not wanting to give up technology or design), Dave launched Metric Media—and hasn't looked back since. Metric Media has made a name for itself in the Pacific Northwest by consistently providing professional, creative and strategic online services to clients.
Dave brings a great mix of technology, business knowledge, creativity and strategic thinking to the table. He has a rare ability to translate complicated ideas into bite size pieces in order to help people make sensible long-term decisions regarding their online presence and profile.
Dave isn't afraid to ask the "tough" questions, encouraging, nudging and when necessary pushing clients into re-examining outdated, irrelevant or unproductive beliefs or objectives about their Websites. Working through this process before production starts defines client objectives and develops a long-term plan, providing a strong foundation for success.
With a background in jazz (which is where we think his right brain and left brain first met), a Bachelor's degree from the University of North Texas and a well-developed sense of the strategy necessary to succeed online, Dave brings a strong analytical perspective to his work. His unique combination of design skills, technical expertise and business sense works to elevate Metric Media, and their clients, above the noise.
